It’s great. Comfortable to hold- photo shows the thickness. It’s smooth but unfinished- so it’s not slippery to hold. It feels like a stone that was filed down. I’m a certified hand therapist and use it on scars for my patients. Provides good cross friction assistance. No rough edges. No rough beveled edge- but there is a bit of a lip to it. I had this same shape from a different company, it was more acrylic, shiny and smooth in feeling- anyway- i accidentally dropped it and it broke. This one probably would also break, so don’t drop it! I recommend!
