I actually didn't purchase this to use for yoga (I purchased it to go between my back and the backrest of my stationary bike so I'd use correct posture while pedaling), and it serves my purpose nicely. It's a very firm foam and does not squish down easily (like a pillow would) which is exactly what I was looking for. The blue is a very attractive color and is quite durable. Sweat also wipes off cleanly and easily which is nice.

Overall, this is a good size and a very firm foam and I certainly recommend it.

I was first introduced to the yoga block in a yoga class. They are not easy to find; so I was delighted when I found the product on Amazon. I use this product at least once a day to relieve back pain from degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis. The exercise involves lying on the floor on your back, knees bent, yoga block underneath the sacrum. It's a very comfortable position which allows the spine to re-align and gently stretch with the help of gravity. My pain level can go from a 10 down to a 2 in a matter of 3 minutes. I LEARNED THIS POSTURE FROM A PROFESSIONAL; BEFORE TRYING IT, YOU SHOULD DISCUSS THIS WITH YOUR DOCTOR. That being said, most orthopedic doctors recognize that therapeutic yoga can be a very useful tool in treating degenerative disc issues. It's well worth the conversation, and you know where you can buy the product once you know how to use it!
